This dish is perfect for those who are tired of traditional pizzas. However, it does not have too much protein. If you want to add proteins, you can do this by adding some crispy tofu. Tofu has a neutral taste, which makes it easy to combine with the taste of beetroot.

Did you know that sweet potatoes are low on the glycemic index. This means that sweet potato hardly raises blood sugar. This makes it a perfect dish for people with diabetes, for example. The glycemic index of sweet potato is also lower than that of the regular potato.

Sweet potatoes therefore have a lot of complex carbohydrates, so that your blood sugar does not get a huge spike. Sweet potatoes gradually release energy and therefore certainly do not result in an after dinner dip.
